Cleburne Vs. Waxahachie should be a better game to televise than Garland Vs. N . Garland because Waxahachie is ranked 4th in state and Cleburne is still in the hunt for the palyoffs.
The voting is unfair also - because Garland ISd schools are 5A and Cleburne is 4A- plus Garland has more computers for the students. Cleburne student population is about 1700 compared to Garland being over or near 3000 per school.

I agree Michael. Schools outside the immedate realm of the Metro-plex get no attention from any of the stations. We kept up in the voting for awhile but we just don't have the population...

I disagree. Garland VS. N. Garland is an interesting game to televise because right now, we are tied for first in the district. This game determines who will be district champions. It really is not all that clear who will win at this point, and that's what makes a good game. I'm not sure about your argument dealing with population. You may have less students, but ANYONE can vote, so it's not just student population. Also, the number of computers for the students is irrelavent. We don't sit in class all day constantly voting to have our football game on TV, we have academics to worry about. Anyone voting is voting at home, not taking time out of the school day to worry about television time.

hello well i kinda agree with you in the part about how many people garland has, we do have an advantage in that part but its not really fair when you say its not fair for ya to lose. get over it its just a game and were better and the people will watch more of it than waxahachie , really well anyways go owls. :) tell all your friends to watch fox 4 tomorrow night GIG EM OWLS

FOX 4 is looking for the game that is the most popular and has most fan support, not the game that is the most closely match or the game that means the most for the standings. After all, we want more people to watch FOX 4 to see the highlights.

Plus, we don't buy the 5A vs. 4A argument. 4A schools win the contest all the time. Instead, it seems like the folks in Garland were really excited about their game this week.

And North Garland only has like 2500-2700 which is pretty small. In stead of complaining, tell your friends, family, neighbors, etc. to vote more. I would be nice if you folks would remember that there are more teams out there than the big schools! Kennedale is undefeated and is averaging around 50 points per game?
